For Sunday Sketches this week, I found a couple of imaginary animals hiding in my paint scribbles. These are fun to do when I’m tired and just want to play around. I love seeing what they will become. Be sure to visit Sophia and see what all the other Sunday Sketchers have been up to this weekend!

Whoo great imaginary animals lurky about near you… love them…
These are super – I especially like the first one – raccoon-like, yet not. 🙂
You know it’s bad: I’m actually inspecting junk magazines for their second potential as art canvas. I got a rather thick-paged one the other day, and was overjoyed. lol!
Wow so cool. I feel like these guys could be in one of those “Before there were Dinosaurs” specials. Really interesting.
What a fabulous and fun idea. I love the raccoon looking doodle. The colors are wonderful. Thanks for the advice about keeping night colors ‘cool.’ That is an easy rule to remember. I also love that you asked if it is digital. I hope that means my working is taking a slightly more painterly look despite the medium.
What a great idea! Your imaginary animals have such character. I love the feet on the second one and the casualness of the first one.
ooh awesome! 🙂
