Drawloween
I’ve been making ATCs for Drawloween this year. Here’s what I’ve done for the first 12 days, somewhat out of order to get them to fit. I skipped a few days because I didn’t like the prompt or just didn’t have time. I’ve been posting them on my new Instagram feed individually, if you’d like a better view of any of them, or if you want to see new ones I as make them.
Some new ATCs
Illustrated ATCshad a monster challenge this week; 5 monsters in 5 days. These are the Skully Plays Dress-up ATCs I drew for the challenge. Colored pencil. The blue background ones are available for trade on iATC but I may keep the other two. Skully amuses me. He’s such a good sport, willing to wear whatever outfit I come up with for him. 🙂
ATCs for Sunday Sketches
Last weekend I was busy mading ATCs for the Art-a-thon over at illustratedatcs.com. Here are the ones I made. All are traded now except for the owl trio. The poor owls got no love at the art-a-thon, but I love them. The moon trio is for a Sun & Moon People swap there. Be sure to see what everyone else is showing for Sunday Sketches this week!
Captain Jack Sparrow ATC
Happy Paint Party Friday, everyone! I’ve been working small this week on ATCs and bookmarks for illustratedatcs.com. This is my Captain Jack Sparrow ATC that is heading to Lithuania this morning for the Pay it Backwards game. He is in watercolor pencil on hot press wc paper. I wasn’t sure I could get a likeness at this tiny size but I think he is recognizable and I’m very pleased with it. I especially like the look of the leather on his hat. I also finished the third of the Elegant Animal People trio of ATCs that I showed part of last week. I posted it on Tuedsay so you can see that one here.
An Elegant Giraffe ATC
This is the third card for the Elegant Animal People ATC swap that I am in. It’s been so long since I did ATCs but these were fun cards to do. You can see the other two in last Friday’s post. They are watercolor, watercolor pencil, inktense pencil and gel pen. I’ve got a Captain Jack Sparrow card in the works and will probably show that one on Friday.
